The Sri Lanka Association of Senior Citizens will conduct their 5th annual Scrabble Tournament at the Hilton, Colombo on Sunday 12th October, co-sponsored by the Nations Trust Bank Ltd. and New Zealand Milk Lanka Pvt. Ltd.

This tournament is open to contestants over the age of 50.

A new 'B' category will be introduced this year where players will use words in the Oxford English Dictionary only. This is to enable participation from players who are unfamiliar with words in the Official Scrabble Dictionary which will be used in the 'A' category championship event.

Closing date for entries is 5th October and entry forms at Rs. 300 are available from Mrs. I. Atukorale, 102/1, Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 7 or Mrs. N. Gunasekera, 12/1, Palm Grove Avenue, Colombo 3.
