Sri Lanka beat India convincingly

After their massive defeat over the UAE, Sri Lanka continued to show their dominance when they beat India by 130 runs. The Indians who were put into bat by Sri Lanka ended on minus 8 after 16 overs, with only Santhamoorthy Sengeni making 10 runs.

Skipper Asela Pathirana (4 for 8), Chrishantha Peiris (4 for 5) and Dilshan Witharana 4 for 7 destroyed the Indian batsmen.

Sri Lanka with some good batting finished off with 122 with Asela Pathirana once again doing well with the bat (26), Dilshan witharana and Iroshan de Silva with 21 apiece piled on the runs for Sri Lanka.

UAE outplayed

The Sri lankan Development Squad completely outplayed the UAE team by beating them by 85 runs.

Batting first Sri Lanka ran up an impressive score of 114 runs with Vinod Samarawickrama (28) and Nishantha Saranasekera (26) being the main contributors. UAE in return were restricted to 29 off their 16 overs. Vinod Samarawickrama (3 for 7) and Nishantha Saranasekera (3 for minus 6) bowled best for Sri Lanka.
