'Mung Eta' Milna rusks from Kalbe Farma Milna rusks, the first rusks to contain DHA (Ducosa Hexanoic Acid), a product of Indonesian pharmaceutical giant Kalbe Farma , recently introduced Green Gram rusks, popularly known as 'Mung Eta' to the existing range of flavours. Speaking at the launch at the Trans Asia Hotel on Tuesday Kalbe Farma's Country Manager, Sudarshana Jayatillaka said that Kalbe Farma was the first to come out with Green gram rusks, which were high in nutrition, contained DHA as well as Prebiotic and contained no preservatives. Milna rusks are already available in flavours of Apple and Orange, Banana, Orange and Original, and have proved to be extremely popular with mothers as well as children and the latest Green Gram flavour too is bound to be a success due to its appetizing flavour and high nutrition content."In today's fast paced life style where most mothers are working, the Milna rusk is ideal to be given either as a cereal or as the rusk itself," Brand Executive Hasini Ranasinghe said. The DHA contained in the rusk has been identified as an essential nutrient which helps develop a vital part of the child's brain as well as the retina in early years, thus helping to stimulate and enhance the child's IQ, while Prebiotic helps to promote the proper growth of gastro intestines and maintain a healthy digestive system. The Kalbe Group is the largest pharmaceutical group of companies in Indonesia and has been in Sri Lanka for over 13 years. In Sri Lanka Milna is distributed by Hemas Marketing (Pte) Limited. |
