Following a complaint made by Ajith Gallage, the Managing Director of Hasara Graphics Printing (Private) Limited, the publisher of Lakmina Newspaper, the CID questioned Isham Mohommed, an employee of Sunday Lakmina for 6 hours at the CID office last Thursday. Ajith Gallage has lodged a complaint with the CID on June 05 alleging that Isham Mohommed, Premajayantha Kasturiarachchi,Sripathy Sooriyaarachchi and Rathna Gamage were threatening him with death, since he suspended the printing of Lakmina newspaper because its owner Sripathy Sooriyaarachchi failed and neglected to pay him Rs.1,173,815 as printing charges. Gallage has supported his complaint by a cassette taped from Beach Valley Hotel, R.A.de Mel Mawatha, Kollupitiya. According to CID sources, the other suspects are due to be interrogated in due course. |
