ICBS launches BBA and MBA programs

ICBS, a leading Business School in Colombo has joined hands with the Warnborough University to offer BBA and MBA programs in Sri Lanka.

ICBS is involved currently in many professional programs such as CIMA, CIM, CMA and ACS. Warnborough is a rapidly growing British University with a presence in many countries including the US and Malaysia. "This alliance will give us a campus status and help us to reach higher quality standards", said Ravi Mahendra, the CEO of ICBS.

The BBA program is unique since it combines with CIMA and CIM programs and the MBA is also different since it is modular and can be completed in one year.

ICBS is managed by a team led by Ravi Mahendra ACMA, ACCA and Sidath Dissanayake who is an Engineer by profession. Ravi Mahendra was selected as the Young CIMA Star for the Year 2002 whereas Sidath Dissanayake topped his batch with a First Class. Sidath is also an Entrepreneur who has founded an IT company SriLogic. These programs were launched last week at the TransAsia Hotel. Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Ravi Karunanayake was present.

The Guest Of Honour was Mrs Rohini Nanayakkara CEO/Director Seylan Bank.
