Network to be expanded : Famous Pacific shipping wins another NVOCC licence in China

Expansion in China for the global freight services group Famous Pacific Shipping continues unabated, with the granting of an NVOCC licence for its facility in China's northern port of Yantai. This means that FPS now has NVOCC licences at six locations including Dalian, Xingang, Ningbo, Guangzhou Qingdao and now Yantai.

Under the licence, FPS Yantai is able to operate and manage its own export NVOCC services, as well as the associated cargo consolidation and forwarding operations. NVOCC licences are similar to the Class A licences granted to freight forwarders offering import customs, clearance and warehousing services, a company, press release stated. Famous Pacific Shipping network is represented in Sri Lanka by Famous Pacific Shipping Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a founder member of the Group.
