Travel Trade Sports Club's double attraction, the SriLankan Airlines sponsored, 24th annual Soccer Sevens and the Netball Championships will be held simultaneously at the Shalika Grounds this Sunday, 8th June, commencing at 8.30 a.m.

SriLankan Airlines will be sponsoring the soccer sevens for the fifth successive year and netball for the second year running.

Twenty two teams have entered the soccer championship, while five teams will play in the netball tournament.

The sponsorship handing over ceremony cum media briefing was held last Friday, 30th May at the Holiday Inn, associated with the event were, Prasanna Subasinghe, Head of Promotions, Saminda Perera, Public Relations Executive, A. F. Sellar, soccer co-ordinator, Hyacinth Kuruppu, netball co-ordinator, all from SriLankan Airlines, president, TTSC, Devindre Senaratne, Keerthi Jayaweera, VP/TTSC and Tyrone Perera sports events co-ordinator TTSC.
