Trinity College, Kandy will come out for the first time this season when they take on Vidyartha College in an inter-school rugby match to be played at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium at Pallekelle today commencing at 4.30 p.m. The junior game will be played at 3.30 p.m.

This match was earlier scheduled to be played at the Bogambara Stadium but the venue had to be shifted to Pallekelle as that venus is not available according to the new Secretary of Trinity College former Trinity, Upcountry. Dimbulla and Dickoya prop forward Mohan Samarakoon.

Trinity will be captained by Sri Lanka Schools player No. 8 Migara Maddumapatabendi and is coached by Alex Lazarus and Geoffrey Garland from Australia.

Trinity College after their dismal performance last year in which they lost the Bradby Shield by a record margin of 83-0 will try to make amends this season and they are force to be reckoned with. They have been put through their paces by the two experienced coaches who are confident that the team will do well.

Vidyartha College are an unknown quantity but are known to doughty fighters who are quite capable of turning the tables on their more fancied opponents in their own den.

The Pallekelle Rugby Stadium tooks nice and green and Trinity who are not playing in the tournament this year will be playing some of their home matches on this ground.
