Old Zahirians play 'A' division rugby for third successive year Old Zahirians Sports Club will participate for the third successive year in the forthcoming 'A' Division Inter-Club Rugby Football tournament 2003. Old Zahirians won the Bowl Championship at the recently concluded under 24, fifteen a side tournament conducted by the WPRFU. This year the OZSC Rugby Wing is under the Chairmanship of Ahamed Fazlee and is assisted by A.R. Habeeb ur Rahman. The team is coached by Hisham Abdeen and is assisted by Fazal Burah. The OZSC Rugby Wing Chairman Ahamed Fazlee said that they have already commenced practices for the Division 'A' league tournaments. Practices are held at Zahira College grounds Maradana on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. All those who wish to play for OZSC during this season are requested to turn up for practices or to contact the Manager Fazal Burah. The Chairman said that this year the players will carry an insurance cover until the season is over. |
