RAJAPAKSE ­ MR S.DE A.   Attorney­at­Law, The Chairman, ‘Bauddha Sadhachara Wardana Samithiya’ Negombo, passed away on 27th March 2003. Mr Rajapakse who was born in Marandagahamula on 5th May 1926 and started his life as a teacher at Harischandra Maha Vidyalaya Negombo and subsequently served the people as a Lawyer in the Negombo area in the year 1957 he joined with ‘Bauddha Mandhiraya’ Negombo and on 13th September 1988 be became the Chairman of the same Organization. He served as Hony. Patron of the Buddhist Lawyers’ Association Negombo and as the Hony Chairman of the Walisinghe Harischandra Foundation. The funeral of Mr S. de A. Rajapakse will be held at 4.00 p.m. on 29th March, 2003 at the Negombo General Cemetery.
