Tea growers in Hinidum Pattu are employing scientific methods for better yields. Many tea smallholders have planted the popular variety, V.P. tea plants, approved by the Tea Research Institute. Here the green leaf is being plucked in a smallholding at Halwitigala while an employee tends a good variety 2026 V.P. tea plants nursery at Lelwala under the direction of an official.

 

New Code on Corporate Governance

CSE to introduce new board for well governed corporates

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will introduce a new Board which will list well-governed corporates which adhere to standards set out in a new Code on Corporate Governance which will be mapped out shortly.
