Danuma loan scheme

With a view to developing the education/knowledge skills of aspiring young professionals, Hatton National Bank together with the Employees Trust Fund Board have launched the Danuma Loan Scheme. Many young professionals and graduates in employment do not have access to financial resources to fund their educational goals. Through this scheme, Hatton National Bank and the Employees Trust Fund Board have combined to fulfill a timely need.

The 'Danumwa loan scheme' intends to provide this category of employees the financial resources to further their desired educational goals. The launch of this loan scheme reinforces Hatton National Bank's commitment to assist in the development of professional skills leading to a quality work force in the country, a press release says. Under the loan scheme, any ETFB member with over two years of continuous membership could apply for financial assistance to further their professional or post graduateship studies.

Loans from Rs. 150,000 to 300,000 would be made available to the members at a very concessionary rate of interest, with flexible repayment options subject to the bank's loan evaluation criteria and guidelines. Hatton National Bank is geared to provide an efficientandfriendlyservice.
