by Kushani Ratnayake The Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme (DAP) in collaboration with the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board of Sri Lanka conducted a Trigger Seminar to mobilise business and work places to prevent drug abuse. "The seminar aims to acknowledge employees of business and work places to adopt and integrate a model of drug abuse prevention as a component of health and safety of the companies," Colombo Plan Secretary General, Dr. U. Sarathchandran said as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. This will help enhance the capabilities of the national focal point and NGOs to implement Drug Free Workplace (DFW) programmes. The training programme has been funded by the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, US Department of State. |
