Ingrin job oriented diploma programs

The Ingrin Institute of Printing and Graphics under the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Training has introduced two new Diploma programs in Computer Graphic Design and Digital Media Design to be commenced in Jan/Feb 2003.

The Diploma in Computer Graphic Design program aims to develop the visual skills that transform text and images into effective communication pieces.

In addition to the design and technical aspects of the course the participants achieve a solid knowledge of pre press and print media as required by the industry.

The Ingrin Diploma in Digital Media Design is a creative course in the use of computer graphics and animation programs.

It teaches the exciting new 3-Dimensional and 2-Dimensional modeling and animation tools, and also important tips on how to best read and capture the audiences' imagination.

Intensive media communications and traditional graphic design skills alone are simply not enough to meet the consumer expectations. Consumer expectations have reached new heights where modern media such as computer and animated visual advertising have become the new "playing field" for key players in the industry.

The New Ingrin Diplomas will help not only those who seek employment in Graphics and Digital media communication industries but also for those who already use it to effectively enhance the knowledge and skills in Graphics and Digital Media.

The curriculum of the two new Diplomas have been structured to meet the industry standards and requirements which helps job seekers in Graphics, Digital and the Print Media.

The participation for each Diploma has been limited to 16 students in order to maintain the Ingrin international standards.

The participants who successfully complete the Diploma programs will receive an internationally recognised certificate from Ingrin Sri Lanka. The Ingrin institute of Printing and Graphics is an international body which has spread over 17 countries and currently operates under the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Training in collaboration with the Ingrin Foundation in the Netherlands.
