by Chathura Vidyaratne Cabinet has decided to forward the Cabinet Sub Committee Reports dealing with the Sri Lanka Rubber Manufacturing Corporation, the vehicle imports by the Presidential Secretariat and the Sri Jayawardenepura Golf course issues to President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga on the 23rd of this month. This follows a request by the President at Wednesday's Cabinet meeting -the last for the year- for the immediate submission of these reports. Although it was pointed out at the meeting that one of the reports had already been handed over to her, the President declared she was unaware of it. Therefore, the government had decided to submit the sub committee reports on all three issues. |
