The Society of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka will launch the "CMA Web Site" at the Hotel Taj Samudra today at 5.45 pm.

The Chief Guests at the launch will be Valarie Raymond, High Commissioner for Canada and Kingsley T. Wickramaratne, Governor, Southern Province.

Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, President of the Society would invite the Chief Guests to launch the web site.

With the launch of the Web Site members and students will have access to the following:

Background of the Society, Office Bearers, Governing Council and Advisory Council; The course content of the Professional Examination conducted by the Society. This will give the different stages and the subjects for each stage; Details of Student Registration, Entry requirements, fees and exemptions.

Students will be able to access "Application For Student Registration Forms" through the web site; Practical training requirements; Examination Dates; Scholarships and Prizes. Types of certificates issued to successful candidates; Membership - qualifications required for memberships, Application for Membership. "Membership Application Forms" could be accessed online.

The Society will provide a link to CMA Canada web site and all members and students will have access to the CMA Canada "Management" magazine.

This would provide an opportunity to the members and students to read this valuable magazine free and keep them updated on the recent trends in Management Accounting.
