Cricket website launched by Coca-Cola A web site that provides a number of innovative features to cricket fans has just been launched by Coca-Cola. The site is hosted by CricInfo.com and will be linked to the official Sri Lankan cricket website lankacricket.lk hosted for the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka by CricInfo.com. Lakshman Peiris, Brand Manager said, "Coca-Cola fan zone is designed to provide opportunities to cricket fans to follow the progress of the Sri Lankan team. With this in mind Coca-Cola fan zone will allow fans to increase their knowledge about the game and get to know more about their favourite cricketers. Features such as emailing the players will lend the opportunity for fans to send greetings and messages to the cricketers while they are on national duty. Surfing fans also stand a chance to win exclusive cricket premia personally autographed by cricketers and many more cricket memorabilia". Other features include Talkboard - which allows fans the opportunity to post their views about specific points of interest; a weekly poll in which fans will be able to vote on topical issues; a chat room that allows fans to chat with their favourite cricketers and commentators; audio clippings of interviews with famous cricketing personalities and a coaching section for the future cricketers, where they can obtain some important tips from the national cricketers.
