GL leaves for Australia

Head of the Sri Lanka Investment Mission and Minister Prof. G.L. Pieris left for Australia yesterday to lobby support for the Oslo Donor Conference scheduled for November 25.

He will also address the Australian media and other governmental and private sector interests during his visit covering Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. He will call on Senator Nick Minichin, Minister for Finance and Administration and Alexander Downer, Minister for Foreign Affairs during his four day stay.
