STF action justified - Kanchirankudah report

Ragging sparks J'pura campus rumpus

While two students of the Jayawardhanapura university who were critically injured in Thursday's clash struggled for life on the hospital bed, the Vice-Chancellor took action to evacuate the University by 11.00 am yesterday to defuse the tension and avert more clashes.
