A 16- member delegation from Croatia will be visiting Sri Lanka on a Trade Promotion Mission. The delegation will be led by the President of Croatia, accompanied by the Vice President, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economy and Minister of Maritime and Communication.

Croatia is a country with growth potential and establishing trade links with them would be of immense value and benefit to Sri Lanka.

The delegation will comprise: BILOKALNIK Inc, Field of Activity: Paper, Wood and Construction Material Industry and Interest in co-operation with Sri Lanka.

BRODARSKI INSTITUTE: Field of Activity: Projecting, consulting and construction supervision in building of ships for special purposes and their systems, Areas of Interest : Export of ships and other products for special purposes for the shipbuilding industry CROSCO Ltd. Field of Activity: Oilfield activities and services regarding the exploration (integrated drilling and well services) and production of oil and gas.

CHROMOS AGRO Inc : Field of Activity: Plant protection product production, dealing with seeds, wholesale and representation Interest in co-operation with Sri Lanka: - Import of reproduction material for pesticide production

INA- OIL INDUSTRY Inc: Field of Activity: Research and production of oil and gas, refining and marketing and Areas of Interest - possibilities of exploration of oil and gas in 3rd markets (mostly Middle-East).

ANA- OIL and GAS EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION Inc, Field of Activity: Oil and Gas exploration and production, refining and marketing of fuel, areas of Interest: Co-operation in oil exploration and production in third markets.

INGRA Inc. Field of Activity: Engineering and Construction Services, Areas of Interest: - Export and Installation of equipment (Control Panels) for Industry and Power Plants.

INKER Inc, Field of Activity: Production of sanitary ceramic ware and porcelain tableware, Areas of Interest : Import of raw materials from India- Export of ceramic ware products to India IVANICPLAST RD Ltd: Field of Activity: Production of WC seats and bathroom utensils, tableware and kitchen utensils, variety of different parts for mechanical products and small sport paddle boats Areas of Interest: - Export of abm products - Import of UREA moulding compound and PELD - co-operation in entering the third markets.

MUNJA Inc. - Field of Activity: Production of starter batteries, stationery and tractionary batteries, Interest in Co-operation with Sri Lanka : - Import of refined soft lead and lead alloy, Export of starter, stationery and tractionary batteries.

PORT AUTHORITY RIJEKA Inc.: Field of Activity: Granting concessions for using port area, port area development, governing the biggest free zone in the Republic of Croatia, areas of Interest : Appointments with shipping lines, forwarding agents, port authorities and port operators.

RIZ TRANSMITTERS Inc.

Field of Activity : Manufacturing, projecting, installation and service of: TV and Radio broadcasting transmitters and communication systems; Digital static electric energy meters, Areas of Interest: - Import of components, Export of transmitters/meters and other business co-operation.

CROATIAN CHAMBER OF ECONOMY: Field of Activity:- Promotion of trade and commerce.

The delegates have expressed an interest in establishing contacts with potential clients suppliers, buyers, manufacturers agents and distributors. In order to offer an opportunity for the Sri Lankan Business Community to establish contacts with the visiting delegation, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be arranging one-to-one meetings on November 18 from 9 am in the Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
