| 3 MCs vote with opposition to defeat motion by Jayantha Sri Nissanka In a surprise political turn around three UNP councillors voted with the opposition to defeat a motion of the Kotte Municipal Council presented by its Mayor Ranjith Cooray. The motion was for a project to provide round the clock health facilities within the Kotte Municipal limits operated by the private sector. Three UNP members Premalal Athukorala, Siripala Cooray and Jayantha Hemasiri voted with the opposition against the motion. |
