Abeyakoon - Assistant Director of Civil Aviation (Retd.), loving mother of Hasitha and Theranjani, mother-in-law of Janaka Dissanayake, darling grand mother of Nadine and Harini, precious sister of Iris, Clarice, late Siri and Indrani. DE ALMEIDA - INESZ   Daughter of late Franklin and Winifred De Almeida, loving sister of Alrys (U.K.), Shiranee (U.S.A.), Nannette (Sherwin) and Rohan (U.S.A.), sister-in-law of John, Jim, Milroy and Ramani, passed away peacefully on the 15th of October at HC 2 Box 9525, Kaau 41 96749, U.S.A.   Friends and relations please accept this intimation. 24/8, Bishops Terrace, Laxapathiya, Moratuwa. 

GOMEZ - SELVARAJ   Son of late Mr & Mrs Francis L Gomez of Balangoda, brother of Jothi, Vasanthi, Premala & Fatima, passed away. Funeral took place in Balangoda on 14.10.2002. We wish to thank the Nuns of the Home for Elders for the kindness and support given to us. We also thank friends and relatives who helped us in numerous ways. Regret inability to thank individually. JAYATILAKE - EVA FLORENCE   Beloved wife of the late L.W.P. Jayatilake (Wilbert), loving mother of late Asoka and Daya, mother-in-law of Nalini, passed away peacefully on 28th September. A private funeral was held.  36/15, Rosmead Place, Colombo 7.

Director - Social Services Dept.), loving mother of Shantha (Proprietor - Signoise Electronics), late Kshanthi and Ravi (Proprietor - Ravi Gems), mother-in-law of Nanda, grandmother of Dasintha (Royal College), Shamal (Open University), expired. Cortege leaves   Jayaratne Funeral Parlour at 4 p.m. on Thursday 17th September for Cremation at General Cemetery - Borella.
