Jayawardane, Director General of S.L.S.I at a seminar held at Kandyan Reach Hotel in Kurunegala recently. The Minister of Industries Rohitha Bogollagama while addressing said that standards and tests go hand in hand and are key to the development of the global market. Once these standards are accepted broadly at an international level, they can further foster the development of global market for goods and services.
