World Habitat Day art and essay competition winners

The National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) organised an Art and Essay Competition to commemorate the World Habitat Day 2002 which falls on Monday, October 7. The School Child Art Competition was held under the age categories of 05-10, 11-15 and 16-20. The Essay Competition was held in Sinhala and Tamil Medium under the age categories of 10-15 and 16-20.

The winners of these competitions were selected by the NHDA. All these winners will receive their cash prizes, awards and certificates on October 7 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.

A special Seminar will also be held on the same day at the BMICH under the patronage of Minister of Housing and Plantation Infrastructure Arumugan Thondaman.
