Killinochchi scouts with peace message for Jamboree

Seven Scout leaders and five scouts from the Killinochchi branch of the Sri Lanka Scout Association will travel to Balapitiya in the Galle district on Motorcycles to handover a peace message to the 6th National Scout Jamboree held there on its inaugural day on August 18, said the contingent Leader and Alternative Scout Commissioner M. Puvanenthiran.

The group will leave the Kaithady Muthucumaraswamy Madya Vidyalaya and proceed via Killinochchi, Vavuniya, Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Chilaw, Negombo, Katunayake, Ja-Ela, Colombo and travel along Galle Road to Balapitiya on August 18.

They will have overnight stays at Vavuniya MV today. Munneswaram temple on August 15, and Sri Lanka Scout Association, Colombo on August 16.
