Colombo will be the venue for several international conventions to be held in the next few weeks. The 32nd annual convention of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors Association will be held at the BMICH from August 18 to 22, drawing over 250 foreign delegates. 
CSE listing for cluster bus companies on Sept 30

The 11 cluster bus companies proposed will be listed for trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange on September 30, the Transport Ministry announced yesterday.The listing of the companies which was scheduled for last week was postponed owing to protests by employees unions and private bus operators. The deadline for bids has been extended till September 24.
