Colombo Municipal health officials have detected a consignment of outdated " mixture " packets from the shelves of a well-known supermarket in Colombo shopping mall. The detection was made during a routine inspection conducted by the health officials during the weekend. The officials have also detected a leading pharmacy in the city selling exposed lozenges and snacks for sale. In both instances, the owners were fined. The detection was made by food inspector S.A. Razak and Chief food inspector S.M. Kathriarachchi. |
