by Florence Wickramage The second phase of the Jak Planting and Popularisation of Jak Related Products Project of Lake House will be launched on July 14 at 9.00 a.m. at the Niyandagala Vidyadeepa Vidyalaya at Homagama. On this day simultaneous with the launch, Jak saplings will be planted in the premises of the Homagama Police Station, Homagama Madya Maha Vidyalaya and Watareka Maha Vidyalaya. The project will be supported by Sevana Lottery, Ministry of Rural Economy, the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha and its Secretariat, The Galawilawatte-Niyandagala United Development Foundation, School Development Society of the Niyandagala Vidyadeepa Vidyalaya, Homagama Samurdhi Balakaya and several other voluntary organisations. |
