Now, e-Channelling through Sathosa

E-Channelling, the 'easy way to channel a doctor service' is now even easier, Sathosa, Welisara, now comes on line to help patients obtain doctors' appointments without having to travel all the way to the hospital. This also means you no longer have to brave the traffic and stand in long, early morning queues.

Now, all a patient has to do, is to walk into the 24 hour Pharmacy at Sathosa, and give their request to the pharmacist. The pharmacist will then check the doctor's availability using the e-Channelling system and make the booking on your behalf, accordingly. A confirmed booking is now in place. A nominal fee is charged for this convenient service. A spokesperson for the Pharmacy said "We will be giving a very special discount to e-Channelling customers when they purchase their prescription drugs from any one of our pharmacies. All they have to do is present their stamped e-Channelling receipt given to them at the time of booking."

The e-Channelling service will soon be available at all 156 Sathosa outlets islandwide. The service will be available from the Sathosa Pharmacy at Rajagiriya from 23rd June.

The e-Channelling service is also available at all Sampath Bank outlets and even through one's own personal computer with an internet connection.

Doctors at Nawaloka, Durdans, Asiri and Oasis hospitals are available for consultation through the e-Channelling network.

E-Channelling Limited is Sri Lanka's only true e-commerce company and is the first technology company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. Its main share holders include Millennium Information Technologies, the Ayojana Fund, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation and DFCC Bank.
