PM meets Lankan team in UK Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is currently in the United Kingdom, took time off his busy schedule to call on Sri Lankan skipper Sanath Jayasuriya and the team. The team was at a practice session at Edgbaston. Skipper Jayasuriya has told the Prime Minister that discussions were being held on whether to play ace spinner Muthiah Muralitharan in the second Test against England. Jayasuriya has said that the chances of Muralitharan playing were better. The Prime Minister had wished Jayasuriya all success for the remaining matches in England while the Sri Lankan skipper had wished the Premier all success in the ongoing peace talks. The Premier's response was: "Your task is easy, but my task is much more arduous."
