New Supreme Court Judge

Justice T.B. Weerasuriya, President of the Court of Appeal has been appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court by President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga. The following three judicial appointments were also made yesterday: Justice N.A.C.N. de S. Jayasinghe, Judge of the Court of Appeal as the President of the Court of Appeal; P.Wijeratne, High Court Judge, Avissawella, as a Judge of the Court of Appeal; K. Siripavan, Deputy Solicitor General as a Judge of the Court of Appeal.
