Lanka 'A' on top

Sri Lanka 'A' were on top after having restricted the Sri Lanka Schools team to 165 for 9 in their first innings on the second day of their BCCSL invitation quadrangular cricket tournament match continued at the NCC grounds yesterday.

Earlier Sri Lanka 'A' declared their first innings at a formidable 400 for 9.

Club XI dismissed for 168

The Development Squad were 70 for 1 in their first innings in reply to the Combined Club XI total of 168 all out on the opening day of their BCCSL invitation quadrangular cricket tournament match which began at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Combined Club XI: 168 (Sanjeewa Silva 41).

Development Squad: 70 for 1 (Shantha Kalawitigoda 50 n.o).
