by Trincomalee correspondent The 62 displaced families consisting of 218 persons presently staying at the Mihindupura welfare camp are prepared to resettle in their original homes at Wilgama. The heads of families have given their consent to go back in writing to the Divisional Secretary Town and Gravets S. Arumainayakam. These people who were living in the Wilgama village for many years left the place in July 2000 over an LTTE attack in which several people were killed. Recently the refugees at Mihindupura were provided with four latrines by a foreign non-governmental organisation.
