The first International Kurash Tournament will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium today from 1.30 pm. to 4.30 p.m.

The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Johnston Fernando will be the Chief Guest.

In this tournament six countries will participate and the International President of Kurash Association K. Yusupov and the President of the Kurash Confederation of Asia J. Tytler will be present to witness the progress of this competition.

The President and the International Referee of Singapore Kurash Association Parga Singh will also grace the occasion.

The President of the Kurash Federation of Sri Lanka Rizvi Rawroof and the two able Vice Presidents of the Federation Asoka Jayawardena and Leslie Rupasinghe are making elaborate arrangements to make this event a success.
