Sehwag suffers shoulder injury NEW DELHI, Sunday (Reuters) - Indian batsman Virender Sehwag was taken off the field on a stretcher with a shoulder injury on the fourth day of the second test against Zimbabwe on Sunday. The 23-year-old attempted a diving catch after Grant Flower drove leg-spinner Anil Kumble to mid-on and immediately doubled up in pain clutching his left shoulder. After being attended on the field by India's team physio Andrew Leipus, he was carried off with a suspected dislocation. Any serious injury could rule the in-form batsman out of the five-match one-day series against Zimbabwe, starting on Thursday. |
