Ruhuna Development Bank profit increases by Matara central correspondent Nett profit earned by the Ruhuna Development Bank during the period 1st of January to 31 December 2001 is Rs. 850,291,26.47 according to its Chairman B.W. Gulwatta. He further added that profit made during the year 2000 was Rs. 730 million. In view of the huge profit made the bank was able to increase the salaries of staff (numbering 350) by 40%. |
