Clear vision to solve problems

by Malimbada group correspondent

The government led by Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe will give top priority to settle the war and also to steer the country to peace and prosperity, said Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources and Deputy Minister of Southern Regional Development Mahinda Wijesekara.

He was addressing a series of meetings held at Uninduwela and Malimbada and several other places in Akuressa electorate to thank the voters and UNF activists for extending their whole-hearted support for his victory and that of UNF in the Matara district.

Mr. Wijesekara said, a plan has been drawn up by him to provide employments for 50,000 unemployed young men and women and a target has been set to provide employment for 2,500 young men and women in the Matara district as a gift for next Sinhala New Year as an initial step of his plan.

People's Alliance did not have a proper plan to develop the country, but the present government headed by Ranil Wickremesinghe has a clear vision to solve the problems of people and also to develop the country, he said.
