TULF Leader and former MP M. Sivasithambaram will take oaths in Parliament as a National List MP, when the House meets today at 10 a.m. Ajith Kumara Meddawatta, the new MP for Ratnapura district will also take oaths this morning. He fills the vacancy created by the death of Transport, Highways and Civil Aviation Minister Gamini Atukorale. He came sixth in the UNP list in Ratnapura district receiving 30,911 preferential votes at the December 5 General Election.
