Badulla District Under 15 Inter Schools Cricket tournament organised by the Badulla District Cricket Association will be conducted during mid January 2002.

According to the President of the Badulla D.C.A. Anil Shantha Manawadu well over ten schools from Badulla, Bandarawela, Welmiada, Passara and Lunugala are expected to participate.

This tournament is being conducted to promote cricket among schools in the area. After the tournament a District Under 15 team will be selected for training and participation in the inter-district schools Cricket tournament.

Uva College, Dharmadutha College, St. Thomas College Gurutalawa and Bandarawela, Bandarawela MMV, St. Josephs' College, Badulla Central College, Hali Ela Central College, Welimada Central College are some of the schools which are expected to participate in this tournament.

The 48th Battle of Uva between Uva College, and Dharamadutha College will conducted during March next year, which too is expected to be organised by the Badulla District Cricket Association.
