Mark Waugh plays 100th consecutive test.

MELBOURNE, Wednesday (Reuters) - Australia batsman Mark Waugh, 36, played his 100th consecutive test on Wednesday in the second test against South Africa, becoming only the third player to achieve the feat.

Allan Border (Australia) 153 1978-79 to 1993-94

Sunil Gavaskar (India) 106 1974-75 to 1986-87

Mark Waugh (Australia) 100 1993 to 2001-02

Gundappa Viswanath (India) 87 1970-71 to 1982-83
