Kalutara District (UNP) MP P.D. Abeyratna who was making a tour of Bulathsinhala electorate recently after the general election said that the victory of the UNP at the general election was a victory of the people of the country who faced immence economic hardships during the time of the past PA government.

He thanked all the voters specially of Horana and Bulathsinhala for supporting him to be the Kalutara District MP for the second time.

Mr. Abeyratne also said that following the victory of UNP a new political culture would be created to live together and to work together.

He said "I will not forget the people. I will solve the common problems of the masses and their personal problems. The UNP was able to put an end to the corrupt politics of the PA government. The UNP will be with the people. No falls promises will be given and work will be done in time. In a short time people will reap the benefits.
