Pakistan coach to stay on until World Cup KARACHI, Tuesday (Reuters) - Pakistan has extended the contract of cricket coach Mudassar Nazar through until the 2003 World Cup. "Nazar wanted to be in a position where he could plan long-term for the team and produce consistent results," cricket board spokesman Khalid Butt told Reuters. The former opener who played 76 tests between 1977 and 1989 was appointed coach in October initially until January after South African Richard Pybus decided not to resume his contract. |
