'People will not forget JVP atrocities'

Prominent UNP leaders like Harsha Abeywardana, Nandalal Fernando and artistes, Thevis Guruge, Premakeerthi de Alwis were killed by the JVP. Kurunegala UNP leader Gamini Jayawickrama Perera said, addressing a public meeting at Katugampola.

Jayawickrama Perera said the JVP has destroyed media freedom in the country. "Today the JVP has forgotten their own past record and pretends that they are the saviours of democracy. But, the people of the country will never forget the atrocities of the JVP, said Jayawickrama Perera.

Upali Piyasoma Chief Organizer of Kuliyapitiya said we cannot allow our country to float on the winds of globalization.
