GCE A/L results on Monday

The GCE Advanced Level examination 2001 results will be released to schools by the Examinations Department on Monday. The results can also be downloaded from the Department website www.doenets.lk by Sunday.

The Commissioner General of Examinations R.B.Amarakoon said the Exams Unit has already begun printing the results. Colombo schools can collect them on Monday itself. Outstation school results will be posted to respective schools.

Over 190,500 school candidates sat for the GCE Advanced Level examination in August this year. Over 4000 private candidates sat for the new exam and 34,000 candidates offered four subjects under the old syllabus.
