Nayaka Thera's killing a barbaric LTTE act - JVP The JVP Politburo in a press release in no uncertain terms condemn the claymore mine explosion caused by LTTE terrorists on the morning of November 18 at Kebethigollawa that claimed the life of the terrorists' target Ven. Pihimbiyagollewa Dhammaloka Nayaka Thera, the Chief Adhikarana Sangha Nayake of Anuradhapura Huruluwewa area. It states that this explosion, in addition to the killing of Ven. Dhammaloka Thera, severely injured four others including, two Buddhist monks marking the 12th explosion within the last two months, displaying the brutality of their carnage against unarmed innocent civilians. It urges that those who issue messages of condemnation and condolence on attacks of this nature instead of rendering mere lip service must openly declare their opposition and sever all connections with the barbaric terrorists and their puppet organizations who destroyed the country and its resources to achieve separatist objectives. It most earnestly urges the people of all communities to join the JVP's march forward to defeat Tiger Terrorism. |
