The visit of Thai Prime Minister Yingluck
Shinawatra strengthens the close ties between Sri Lanka and
Thailand, Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said in Parliament
yesterday.He said the two countries are closely interlinked based on
trade, rice cultivation and Theravada Buddhism.
