Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo celebrates with a host of traditional as well as non-traditional Easter menus across its critically acclaimed restaurants this Easter Sunday.

The Easter Brunch at 8° on the Lake, the hotel’s floating restaurant, is an extra special treat the hotel offers diners. Indulge in the delicious Easter Brunch with its dazzling spread of the Easter creations whilst enjoying the scenic beauty of the Beira Lake. The Easter Brunch takes place from 12 noon to 3pm on March 31 with a sailing time at 1pm.

The Royal Thai restaurant introduces a special Easter Sunday Set Lunch with a Thai twist made especially to suit the occasion. Start off with a deep fried seafood ball with egg noodles and the mouthwatering mango salad followed by a minced chicken quenelle soup with Thai herbs. The main dishes such as the roasted turkey massaman curry, wok fried prawns with ginger sauce, Thai style devilled cuttlefish, straw mushrooms with hot basil and the chicken fried rice are some of the most popular main dishes at the restaurant. End the evening with one of the best coconut ice cream’s specially made for the evening.

Another Easter special at CLC takes place at the famous Long Feng restaurant that specializes in Chinese cuisine. Indulge in an Easter adaptation of its lunch, the ultimate way to celebrate the joy of this festive occasion with the entire family. Long Feng has created a scrumptious Oriental set lunch menu for this Easter Sunday especially for their valued diners.

The best way to start off the evening is to try the prawn wanton and Chinese turkey roll along with the papaya salad followed by a turkey and seafood vegetable soup. Amongst the main dishes that are well recommended are the kung pao prawn, spring onion ginger lamb, wok fried black pepper sea bass and mapo tofu. End the night with the all famous longan cheese cake that is a definite must have.

The Dining Room Easter Sunday Lunch continues this year as expected due to its popularity last year. A mouthwatering buffet awaits all diners comprising traditional Easter dishes such as roast turkey and Easter treats including the famous Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns.
