President opens Miloda Financial Education Institute

The Miloda Financial Study Institution
which was set up under the Finance and Planning Ministry was
opened by President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday. Picture
shows the President being received by Finance and Planning
Ministry Secretary Dr. P. B. Jayasundera on his arrival.
Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Prime
Minister’s Secretary S Amarasekera and Secretary to the
Cabinet of Ministers Sumith Abeysinghe were also present.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday opened 'Miloda Financial
Education Institute' at the renovated Times Building. With an 800 seat
capacity auditorium, the institute constructed and refurbished with the
assistance of the Japan International Corporation is projected to be
maintained as an international financial institute functioning under the
aegis of the Finance Ministry.
The President presented a book detailing the economic achievements
after he assumed the portfolio of the Finance Ministry to former
Secretaries of the Finance Ministry. Secretary to the President Lalith
Weeratunga, Secretary to the Prime Minister S. Amerasekera , Finance
Ministry Secretary Dr. P. B. Jayasundera, Cabinet Secretary Sumith
Abeysinghe along with former secretaries and other officials were
present.
