The Bureau of the Commissioner General of Rehabilitation had joined
hands with Rasika on this venture which is titled 'Nature and Humanity'.
"The aim of the exhibition is to use my talent as a means of social
welfare.
I hope the viewers will not only find my work entertaining but also
get a certain knowledge and understanding about their surroundings. I
also hope to lure the society towards art through 'Nature and
Humanity'," Rasika explained about his effort.
He noted that art acts as a healing balm for those who had been in
the war zone. Pondering over such matters will help them develop their
power of imagination.
They will be able to see the beauty behind the simplicity of life.
They will also realize that though they have faced many hardships and
had undergone terrifying experiences, they are in the mindset to
appreciate beautiful things alike art again.
"I also hope to emend the barrier between ethnic groups through the
exhibition. They will be able to witness many cultural aspects and
traditions in connection with other ethnic groups at the event," Rasika
said.
