Phoebe and the Bee
Sripathy Jayamaha
Phoebe de Sweeney (nee Queenie P Sansoni) tripped on a tee near the
golf course close to the lea sheltered by a lee a few metres from the
sea. She was being chased by a bee on a stinging spree. Phoebe could see
the she-bee. The bee was sorry to see the knee of Phoebe. To be a bee or
not to be a bee.
She let her go free. The key in the hand of Sweeney did flee from her
hands and struck a tree on which was a wee birdie, feeding merrily on a
flea.
The key to her home was by the quay very close to the deep sea.
Friends came to see Sweeney to wish her a speedy recovery. They said
they were sorry, very, very. 'Wishes from Siri too', said Ranee.
Not very free because they were studying for the external degree. Oh!
"I am so happy - you all came to see me, poor Phoebe Sansoni - and by
the way how came 'ye'? Why, in the car belonging to Ranee - her Cambry
three Sri three, a sure winner at next year Grand Prix". Phoebe Sansoni,
we did verily came to see thee", teased Ranee. "Thank you" Ranee
Shiranee for your Shakespearean Ingreesy. Yes, now the story - but first
some tea and thence to the upper storey for the story. "Alas! A
miserable tee. Yes fate did decree that I should injure my knee." "Don't
you worry" said Svinee. "Lucky I am chubby, otherwise my knee would have
been like a smashed up cowpea or a gooseberry. Anyway our family docee
gave me some CBs for no medical fee.
"So, now you see", said Ranee "handing over some CDs" all very spicy
also some old thattees of Presley and Crosby See. What a teeny weeny tee
and a bee could do to a knee of a ghee eating fatty. Now we must hurry -
Ah! Here is some prawn curry and creamy strawberries. All low Seenie,
less panee. Yes. 'Life is a ferry, me dearie Queenee, on the river
